Doug Weedin has been a director of the Cody Recreation Foundation since its inception in 1999. He also co-chaired the capital campaign which raised funds to construct the dry side of the rec center. Before his retirement in 2023 Doug served as President of Pinnacle Bank for 41 years. During his career he remained civic minded, serving as President of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, Cody Rotary Club, Cody Ambassadors and Olive Glenn Golf and Country Club. In addition, he served on the boards of the Northwest College Foundation and West Park Hospital Foundation.
Having served on the Cody Recreation Foundation Board for over 25 years, Doug possesses a unique perspective on the history of recreation in the Cody Community. He understands the value of recreational opportunities and how they improve the quality of life for all Cody residents. As President of the Cody Recreation Foundation Doug’s goal is to maintain and improve our current means of recreation and assist in funding new and exciting projects.
Doug and his wife, Sarah, have resided in Cody for 43 years. During those years they have coached youth sports and participated in much of the recreation Cody has to offer.
