Marc Thompson has been a Director on the Cody Recreation Foundation Board since its inception. Marc has also served as a Director and past president of the Cody Stampede Rodeo Board, past president of the Park County Bar Association, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. With degrees in business and law, Marc has an active legal practice through Thompson Law, LLC, and he also serves as a part-time judge. Marc and his wife Jodie have four children who are 6th-generation Cody residents. Spanning several decades, Marc has coached numerous sports, including baseball, hockey, basketball, and soccer. As an avid sports enthusiast, Marc participates in various sports, including basketball, tennis, skiing, and pickleball. Marc and his family have been members of the Cody Recreation Center since it opened in 1999. As the inaugural director, Marc continues to support the Foundation’s scholarship program, providing recreational access to everyone in the community, as well as children-based programs and new projects that enhance recreational opportunities for residents of Park County.
